The Michigan Trial Reporter and Schnitzerlaw
by Bret Schnitzer
The Michigan Trial Reporter Volume 26 issue 3, has published another front page article about an auto accident case settled by Schnitzerlaw. The case is interesting for a number of reasons. The facts are that the Plaintiff was actually ticketed by the police and determined to be wholly at fault for the accident by the investigating officer. Plaintiff was given both the hazardous action number and a ticket by the police for an improper lane change. Plaintiff hired her counsel Bret A. Schnitzer almost three years after the accident, after being unable to find any other attorney willing to help her. Through an exhaustive investigation Plaintiffs counsel was able to determine that it was the defendant truck driver not the plaintiff who caused the accident. After extensive cross examination of the truck driver and photographic evidence it was established that the police investigation was wholly wrong and that the truck driver not the Plaintiff caused this accident. Plaintiff recovered $170,000.00 due to the tenacity of the Plaintiff and her attorneys at Schnitzerlaw.
